This traditional farm is located on the outskirts of the quiet village of Maciejowice, near a forest on the banks of the mighty Vistula River, what makes it a perfect place for long walks. They grow potatoes and pumpkins and they keep cows and pigs. The house is surrounded by a garden where you can find a garden house, a swing and a barbecue. Peaceful surroundings, clean air, beautiful meadows are guaranteed.

They have prepared four rooms for 7-10 persons in total: one double en suite and three rooms with two shared bathrooms. The guests can also use a common living room, a room with antique household equipment, a gym and a sauna. They serve healthy food such as milk fresh from the cow, various kinds of home-made cottage cheese and cured meats, vegetables and home-made preserves. You can enjoy relaxation by the fishing pond (100 m away). Guests can take a ferry trip along Vistula which is only 2.5 km away from our farm.

The area of Kawęczyn can boast many places of historic importance. On 10th October 1794 there was the famous battle of Maciejowice during which Tadeusz Kościuszko was wounded and taken prisoner. That event is commemorated in several places in Maciejowice, such as the Museum of Tadeusz Kościuszko at the Commune Cultural Centre or the monument that stands in the centre of the village. In Podzamcze (6 km) you can visit the residence of the Zamoyski family with two palaces of which one is the house to the Chamber of Natural Sciences and Forestry and the other one is in ruins with a tower, stables etc. You can also participate in many seasonal events organized in Maciejowice, such as the Powiślaki folk festival on the second Saturday of June.
