The Estate ‘t Zand Hattemer Oldenburger is situated in the middle of a forest of 300 ha and has seven campingfields from 0,5 ha each. In a unique way you can live the pure essence of camping; surrounded by nature, endless space, privacy and a beneficent stillness.

At the reception a map is available with the seven campingfields; they are kilometres away from each other and are far from tarmac roads. There is a dry toilet or you can go into the woods with a little scoop. A cold shower is available on the site. A warm shower is possible in the nearby sports hall De Veldhoek (against payment). There are watertappoints everywhere on the site. Our guests are mostly bicyclists, readers and restseekers; people who want to leave their daily business behind. This is a nature campsite and a special camping card is required and available at the estate.

Walking is possible on the grounds of the estate and the surroundings. There are dozens of kilometres sandy paths open to the public on the family estate and it’s a very good area for bicycling, for example to Ruurlo, Doetinchem of Hengelo. The campsite is close to the Pieterpad. Nearby you can rent a bicycle.
