Hotel Cortijo de Pino is on a hillside above the village of Albuñuelas, looking out over the Lecrín valley, the Sierra Nevada and the Sierra de los Guajares. The old farmhouse has been converted into an intimate five room hotel.

The hotel has a lovely sitting room (with its original tile floor) and a small dining room. There is a large terrace shaded by a huge centenarian pine tree. Enjoy the beautiful gardens, swimming pool and patio where you can eat breakfast. There is also a studio: painting holidays are possible on request.

From the farm you can walk through the olive, almond, orange and lemon groves directly to the pine forest with its gurgling mountain streams. This part of the Alpujarras is famous for its picturesque white villages (on the Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos). Nearby attractions include Moorish architecture, the sea, Granada (45 km) and the snow-capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada.
